FamAlly Cares is a nonprofit supported by Alliance RV owners.
We are dedicated to helping children and families in the Elkhart, Indiana community, as well as children and families associated with the larger camping community through various fundraising events.
FamAlly Cares, Inc is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code.
FamAlly Cares exists to serve the RV community and to help when there is a need.
Not just within the Alliance family, but across all brands because RVers belong to one united family.
The Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart, Indiana
In 2024 our silent auction allowed us to give back to the Elkhart community which serves the men and women who work for Alliance RV.
The Beginning of FamAlly Cares
In 2022 the grandson of Mike and Rachel Ellis, members of our Ally Family, was diagnosed in utero as having Myelomeningocele, which is a severe type of spina bifida that occurs when the spinal column doesn't close properly during fetal development. It's the most common and permanently disabling birth defect of the central nervous system.
After his birth, Mike and Rachel’s grandson spent four months in the NICU on a ventilator and had a shunt to remove fluid from his brain. Today this little guy brings so much joy to his family and continues to power through his limitations. This family received an outpouring of love and support from the Alliance community.
At the Texas Ally Rally the first donation was taken to help offset the family's medical costs. Several people started discussing the possibility of starting a nonprofit and the seed was planted for FamAlly Cares Inc.
